We were just twelve miles out of Bridgeport when our radiator hose
blew. In the middle of nowhere I found an old man's cabin and
borrowed some tools. With some tape and wire Laurie patched it and
got us into Bridgeport. There were no hoses to be found. However with
her ingenuity and mechanical prowess Laurie pieced together some
parts she found behind an old gas station and got us home.
