
It was a foggy morning along the coast just north of
Ft. Bragg. We were shooting some pictures on this deserted train
trestle, when I caught this moment as Laurie was negotiating her way
across the timbers with youthful exuberance. It inspired the
painting when I realized the seemingly natural agility of my
"mist-defying" tomboy partner.
